BCAR Part-Time Monthly Parker Program
BCAR offers a hybrid work from home program to meet the need of downtown works working from thier homes and in the office.
In an effort to offer additional public parking services to existing BCAR Customers and the downtown Buffalo parking public, BCAR and the City of Buffalo are pleased to offer the Part-time Monthly Parker Program.
This program has been designed to assist public parking customers who work part of their schedule at home and the remaining time in their downtown offices. Both use plans are a 30% discount from the average daily rate paid by Regular Monthly customers.
The program offers two options, a 10 Use and 14 Use per calendar month account. For a reduced monthly cost, program participants will be permitted to park in any BCAR managed downtown parking ramp either 10 or 14 times per calendar month depending on which plan you enroll in.
How It Works
The access credential pass assigned to you that operates the ramp gates will be assigned to a 'Limited Use' group that only permits 10 or 14 exits per month, depending upon the program plan you enrolled in.
A single use is defined as an Enter and Exit (IN/OUT) in sequential order. Using your access credential pass out of order will result in a 'denied - anti-passback' error that won't vend the gate.
The system count's each time your access credential was successfully used to vend a gate, therefore if for any reason you do not have enough remaining uses upon entering the ramp, it will deny access with a 'no uses remaining' error.
After the 10th or 14th exit in any given month, the access credential will be denied, and that customer would have to vend a ramp ticket to enter the ramp and use that ticket when exiting in the exit self-pay station. The exit station will calculate the fee based on time parked and the daily rate which must be paid by credit card.

This program is not available to overnight parkers and is intended only for daily parkers. Any parkers found to be parking overnight will be moved to a fulltime parker plan and billed accordingly.
Payments for this program will be by recurring credit card or direct debit only. The monthly fee will be charged to the customer's account on the 1st business day of each month.
This program offers no daily IN/OUT privileges - every use (Enter/Exit) deducts from your allowed monthly uses
Enrollees who have enrolled and are participating in the program, but want to terminate that participation, must notify BCAR by the 26"' day of
of the month preceding the month they wish to terminate their participation.
If your access credential is not vending the gate upon exit, you must use the ticket pulled entering the ramp or if no ticket was pulled pay the daily maximum lost ticket rate.
Please call the office at your earliest convivence after paying the fee with a credit card if you feel the denied access was in error. BCAR will investigate any such claims and refund your fee paid if warranted.
Please do not impede traffic and dispute any such occurrences in the drive lane while exiting. Due to various reasons BCAR staff, either in person or via the 'help button' are not permitted to open the gate and let a monthly parker out of the ramp if their access credential does not work.
BCAR reserves the right to modify this program with 30 days' notice.
New customers that are not currently a BCAR monthly parker will need to fill out the Monthly Parker Application, Part-Time Parker Application, and Direct Debit or recurring credit card form.
Existing and current BCAR monthly parkers will need to fill out the Part-Time Parker Application and Direct Debit or recurring credit card form.
Applications must be submitted by the 26th day of the month before the 1 day of the succeeding month they would use the Program.
